Commissions & Collaborations

Do you have a favourite lace knitting pattern that you’d like to have as a one of a kind print? Or perhaps a collection of antique textiles from your grandmother that are deteriorating and need a new life as a piece of artwork. I’d love to chat about your commission ideas. Or maybe you’d like to propose a collaboration? Connect at

Hoping to feature an artist or craftsperson in an upcoming publication and need a writer who has experience engaging with the creative community? Rates & Fees

The CARFAC-RAAV Minimum Recommended Fee Schedule is widely recognized as the national standard for remuneration of visual and media artists in Canada. These payments include royalties for the exhibition and reproduction of an artist’s work, as well as various professional services fees.

You can see the 2023 recommended rates here, I consult this fee schedule when estimating for services, and provide a fair quote for my time, material costs, and overhead.
